CALIRAYA UPHILL CHALLENGE 2012

We are organizing “CALIRAYA UPHILL CHALLENGE 2012 on January 28, 2012 in Lumban Laguna as part of our main goal to promote running for fitness and total well-being. This event is a fund-raising activity whose proceeds will be used in feeding programs for Malnourish Children of Lumban Laguna as our selected beneficiaries. The event has strategically toured running enthusiasts within the scenic views of one of the highland in Laguna, the CALIRAYA. Offering more challenging and scenic routes than road races held in the cities.

The organization aims to further expose the event’s participants to the benefits of running in a clean, unpolluted, and nature-filled environment as well as heighten the public’s environmental awareness.






So we encourage everybody to run in this very exciting event.

Don Henrico’s Run – Help Save a Life Today will be held on December 17, 2011 at 3:30 pm at the CCP Complex Pasay City.  This event aims to aid the Sagip Buhay Foundation.  Interested participants can register at 3K, 5K, and 10K races at all Don Henrico’s outlets in Metro Manila from October 25 to December 15, 2011.

LET'S RUN.. LET'S CELEBRATE.. LET'S DO FUNd RACING!

Wednesday, November 30 · 5:00am - 9:00am Ultra Oval, Ortigas Center, Pasig City

500 runners will have the privilege of enjoying a run with snacks, a finisher's shirt, give aways and a chance to win special awards WITHOUT PAYING A REGISTRATION FEE.

More importantly, these runners will be able to HELP KIDS FROM TULOY FOUNDATION ( http://www.tuloyfoundation.org/) by simply joining this FUNd Run.

Each participant are encouraged to donate at least P100.00 which would contribute to the P100,000 target to be raised.


HOW?

There will be two ways to register. Online and on- site.


ONLINE

1. Only the first 200 runners can register on-line. The first 100 runners for 5K and the first 100 for 10K.

2. You can register by posting on the wall of this event with the following information:

3. We will reply to your post with your assigned bib number as a confirmation.

4. You may pick up your race kit and hand your donation starting November 14 until Nov. 21 at A Runner's Circle, Roxas Blvd., cor. Quirino Ave., Manila.

5. Kits that will not be picked up until Nov. 21 would mean forfeited slot and would be given to other interested participant.


ON SITE

1. Registration will be at A Runner's Circle (Roxas Blvd., cor Quirino Ave., Manila) from Nov. 10 until Nov. 27.

2. Fill out a registration form.

3. Donation indicated in the form shall be handed immediately upon registration.


Summary of dates to remember:

October 24: Online registration opens
November 10-27: On-siTe registration opens at ARC
November 14-21: Pick up of race kits and handing of donations at ARC for online registrants
November 14-27: Pick up of race kits for on-site registrants
November 30: BIG DAY!!! ;)


We shall post an update of the amount raised based on committed and actual donations received twice a week so we'd know how far are we from our target.
